Marilyn grew up in Powell, Ohio. At age three, taught by her mother, Marilyn wrote her first song on piano and began studying music and learning to play every instrument she could find. As a teenager she began focusing all of her musical talents on her favorite styles... pop, jazz, and r & b. She performed in theater productions at The Ohio State University as "Rizzo," in Grease and others. What is reflected in Marilyn's music today is the passion and appreciation for diverse soulful musical styles, an innate love of rhythm and excitement to always create something new.
